Article 3 - Services

All services offered are defined prior to booking an appointment.

3.1 - Consulting Services

The Indoor Studio provides consulting and advisory services, which may include, depending on the Client’s needs: 2D/3D plans, perspectives, layout proposals, concepts, choice of materials, colors, furniture, and assistance in selecting service providers (within the limits of interior design expertise). Services can be performed remotely. The advice provided aims only to inform the Client about possibilities regarding space, color, materials, and lighting. They do not constitute a technical engineering consultation.

Once the consulting service or any other deliverable agreed in the quotation has been delivered, the Client may not demand a complete redo or refuse payment based on subjective reasons (e.g., taste). However, at the Interior Designer’s discretion, adjustments may be made upon the Client’s request.

Article 4 - Liability

The Interior Designer will make every effort to ensure Client satisfaction, in accordance with the signed quotation, and will provide regular updates on progress.

The Interior Designer is neither a contractor nor a project manager for construction work and, therefore, is not contractually liable for the execution of works. The Indoor Studio does not act as an architect. Any legal or contractual guarantees for works are the responsibility of the contractors involved (decennial guarantee, conformity, hidden defects, etc.). In case of disputes, the Client may only claim against the contractor. The Interior Designer recommends that Clients take out insurance on eligible works prior to project start, in accordance with French law of 4 January 1978. The Indoor Studio cannot be held liable for non-performance of contracts with third-party contractors.

4.1 - External Contractors

When the Client is referred to an external contractor, the Client retains full choice of company. The Indoor Studio does not interfere in the contractual relationship, and the external company does not act as a subcontractor of The Indoor Studio. Quotes for works are issued directly by the contractor, and no payment passes through The Indoor Studio.

The Indoor Studio may monitor project progress and contractor interventions, but cannot be held responsible for damage, theft, or misuse of architectural elements or furniture. Plans provided by The Indoor Studio are for reference only and must be checked and validated by the contractor before execution. The Indoor Studio bears no responsibility if contractors rely solely on the provided plans without verifying measurements or creating their own technical plans. The Client assumes responsibility for execution of design proposals. The Indoor Studio cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from the implementation of its design recommendations by the Client.

Article 5 - Illustrations

The Indoor Studio does not guarantee that colors displayed on screen or in print exactly match products. The Client should verify colors in-store or via sample sheets. The Indoor Studio cannot be held liable if the final result differs from visualizations.

Article 6 - Cas de force majeure

Agreed delivery times will be respected except in case of force majeure. Events beyond the control of the parties that make performance impossible are considered force majeure (strikes, illness, fire, flood, war, power or telecom failures, epidemics, roadblocks). The Interior Designer will notify the Client in writing within 24 hours. If the event lasts more than 30 days, either party may terminate the contract without compensation.

Article 7 - Fees

Prices in quotations are in Euros, excluding VAT (not applicable under French law, Art. 293 B CGI). Quotations are valid for two months from receipt. Payment schedules may be specified in the quotation. The quotation becomes final once signed, dated, returned, and accompanied by the signed T&Cs.

Article 8 - Payment Methods and Default

The Client guarantees they have authorization to use their chosen payment method. Payment can be made by bank transfer after signing the quotation. Project processing begins once payment is received.

Late or missing payment makes all remaining sums immediately due. In case of non-payment, collection fees and a fixed €40 fee apply. Fraudulent use of payment methods may result in legal action.

Article 9 - Right of Withdrawal

From the date of order (quotation signature), and in accordance with applicable law, the Client has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal. A registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt must be sent to: The Indoor Studio/Sandy Tran, 22 rue de l’Hérault, 33140 Villenave d’Ornon, France.
Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt. This applies only to consumers.

Article 10 - Intellectual Property
The Indoor Studio retains full ownership of the creative concept and project imagery. The Client must inform The Indoor Studio of any publication or use of images. By accepting these T&Cs, the Client authorizes The Indoor Studio to take before/after photos for promotional purposes. Photos may be reproduced or modified and used across media (magazines, TV, web, mobile). Client anonymity will be respected. Images on the website or commercial documents are illustrative only and non-contractual.

Article 11 - Data Protection

Information requested by The Indoor Studio may be modified or deleted at any time in accordance with French Data Protection law n°78-17 (1978). Clients have the right to access, rectify, oppose, or delete personal data.
